FATIMA Women’s Network is an independent, strategic and diverse organisation, using dynamic interventions for gender equity, social, economic and environmental justice.
FATIMA Women's Network is dedicated to bringing about positive change in the lives of women and in particular, women and families from diverse communities and disadvantaged backgrounds.
FATIMA Women's Network is an online resource designed to:
- Represent the needs of ALL women, though in particular women from diverse and disadvantaged communities
- Facilitate cross community networking
- Deliver training and employment services
- Undertake, encourage and promote research and better understanding of women's issues
- Support and encourage inter-racial and inter-faith harmony in learning and working environments

Improving Reach
As an infrastructure organisation, funded by Improving Reach, we are working to develop the BME Women's Sector in the region through:
- Effective Partnerships
- Increased Participation and Engagement
- Customised Networking
- Improving its sustainability for example using cross sector consortia to tender for contracts.
Our regional work is informed by our advocacy role at the national and international level especially with regard to Muslim and Migrant women.
A key aspect of our work is developing a leadership program working with a variety of training providers including the Army.

Fem EU-Link
A dynamic initative to mark 2008 "EUROPEAN YEAR OF INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE".
FATIMA will be holding major conferences in England, Wales, N Ireland and Scotland. These will provide an insight into how we can be effective members of European Civil Society, through the development of leadership skills and participation in the electoral process; to inform the development of a more cohesive approach to policy and engagement across the UK.

Migrant Women Network
FATIMA is leading on a strategy to mainstream gender into immigration / integration / policies and promote good practice across agencies and organisations working with migrant women.
The network extends into twenty seven (27) countries and will be delivering capacity building, disseminating information, developing resources and networking.
Supporting Muslim Women
We provide a diverse range of activities to support the needs of muslim women to access training, funding, policy development, financial management, consortia development and develop networks.
Our approach has been to develop links and work in partnerships with a a wide range of organisations, government agencies and communities.
